The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will hold a protest rally in Torur on Wednesday, alleging that the Congress government has failed to implement the six guarantees and 420 promises made during the elections. The rally will be led by former minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. According to BRS leaders, a 420-foot-long flexi highlighting the 420 promises will be displayed during the programme.
The rally will begin at the Torur bus stand and proceed towards Gandhi Chowrastha near the market area. With a large turnout of BRS leaders and workers expected, police have made advance security arrangements. Additional forces have been brought in from the Mahabubabad headquarters under the supervision of Torur SI Mahender Reddy. Security has also been deployed along the Warangal–Khammam National Highway from 8 am to prevent traffic disruptions and maintain law and order.
