BRS MLCs Tata Madhu, Naveen Kumar Reddy Arrested

BRS MLCs Tata Madhu and Naveen Kumar Reddy were arrested by the police on Tuesday. They were taken into custody near their residences at the New MLA Quarters in Hyderabad. Congress leaders had alleged that Tata Madhu used inappropriate language against Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar during a protest on the Assembly premises on Monday. An SC/ST Atrocities case has reportedly been registered against him in connection with the incident.

Meanwhile, police are also reportedly said to have visited the residence of former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao. The arrests have intensified the political atmosphere in Hyderabad, with tensions between the BRS and Congress expected to escalate further amid the latest developments.
