BRS Angered by Government’s Conduct.. Calls for Statewide Protests

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has called for statewide protests condemning the government’s alleged obstruction of its MLAs and MLCs ahead of the Assembly session. The party accused the government of preventing its legislators from attending the proceedings and said the incident reflected an undemocratic approach.

BRS leaders said KTR, Jagadish Reddy and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy sustained injuries during clashes with police amid the protests. Condemning the alleged attacks and what it described as an anti-democratic attitude, the party urged its leaders and workers to stage protests across the state and burn effigies of the government.
