Bonda Uma Accuses YSRCP of Trying to Disrupt Elections

Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Uma has accused the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of attempting to prevent elections from taking place. He alleged that nomination papers were snatched from candidates and torn at several locations. Uma also accused the party of creating disturbances and then blaming the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for them. Referring to Punganur and other areas, he alleged that incidents of disruption had taken place there. These claims were made by Uma and require independent verification.

Uma questioned whether intimidation had been used to secure unanimous victories during elections held under the YSRCP government in 2021. He alleged that people had previously been threatened through acts of intimidation and political violence. He also claimed that an attempt had been made on his life in Macherla and said he survived because of divine blessings. The allegations highlight the need for authorities to investigate reported election-related incidents and establish the facts.
