The BJP is determined to win the Jubilee Hills by-election at any cost. The party has fielded Lankala Deepan Reddy as its candidate and is seeking support from everyone. However, the BJP has not officially sought support from the TDP so far. On the other hand, the TDP has instructed its Telangana leaders to remain neutral in this election.
Surprisingly, a community group that traditionally supports the TDP has announced its support for the Congress in the Jubilee Hills by-election, shocking BJP supporters. This has sparked talk that the TDP has indirectly given a jolt to the BJP. Even though the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena are allies in Andhra Pradesh, the BJP’s decision not to request TDP’s support in Telangana has raised eyebrows in political circles.
Meanwhile, the Jana Sena Party, another ally in the Andhra coalition, has officially extended support to the BJP in the Jubilee Hills by-election. On Tuesday, Telangana Jana Sena president Shankar Goud and other party leaders met with Telangana BJP president N. Ramchandra Rao and Union Minister Kishan Reddy to discuss the election. The Jana Sena announced its full support for BJP candidate Lankala Deepan Reddy and said they would campaign actively in the remaining six days. With this move, the Jana Sena has once again proven to be a trusted ally of the BJP in the Jubilee Hills by-election.
