BJP Chief Nitin Nabin Asks State In-Charges to Focus on Ground-Level Work, Avoid Unnecessary Delhi Visits

BJP president Nitin Nabin has directed the party’s state and Union Territory in-charges and co-in-charges to focus on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level rather than making frequent visits to Delhi. He advised them against visiting the national capital unnecessarily for personal interests and asked them to regularly tour the states assigned to them and work towards expanding the party organisation.

Nabin reportedly observed that some leaders were frequently travelling to Delhi and spending time meeting senior party leaders instead of focusing on organisational work in their respective states. He urged the newly appointed in-charges and co-in-charges to avoid such practices and give priority to their field responsibilities.

On Tuesday, Nabin held a meeting with the newly appointed state and Union Territory in-charges and co-in-charges at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. Party National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh also attended the meeting. The meeting was the first after the BJP recently reorganised its organisational structure across all 28 states and eight Union Territories.

The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation, preparations for the Assembly elections scheduled next year and expanding the BJP’s presence among various sections of society at the grassroots level. Nabin advised the functionaries to treat their assigned responsibilities as their primary priority and work in the interests of the party rather than for personal objectives.
