Microsoft founder Bill Gates is scheduled to visit Amaravati on the 18th of this month. During his visit, he is expected to meet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and hold discussions on several key issues related to the state’s development. The focus will primarily be on leveraging artificial intelligence–based technologies to improve outcomes in healthcare, agriculture, and education.
In March last year, the state government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The objective of the agreement is to deliver faster and more efficient public services through healthcare analytics, digital agriculture, and the use of technology in governance. The implementation of this project is likely to be reviewed during the meeting. Additionally, there is speculation regarding potential Microsoft investments in the Amaravati Quantum Valley, with clarity on the proposal expected on the same day.
