Big Investment Comeback: Lokesh’s Tweet Creates Buzz

Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a renewed wave of investments, according to Minister Nara Lokesh. In a recent tweet that sparked widespread discussion, Lokesh revealed that a major industry—which had exited the state during the previous administration is now preparing to return with significant investments.

He noted that the company had halted its new projects in 2019 but is now  making a strong comeback to Andhra Pradesh with renewed confidence. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Lokesh will tour Visakhapatnam today, where several important agreements are expected to be finalized. They will meet with investors and review upcoming development projects. Lokesh is also scheduled to lay foundation stones and inaugurate multiple works. CM Chandrababu will participate in the India–Europe Business Meet, discussing green shift initiatives, sustainable innovation, and European investments. Later in the evening, he will attend the “Visakha Economic Region” programme, followed by the “CII National Special Meeting” at night.
