Bhumana Slams Social Media Posts on Roja

Tirupati: Former TTD Chairman and YSRCP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy alleged that social media accounts associated with the TDP were spreading misleading content targeting former minister R.K. Roja. Reacting to posts claiming that Roja had undergone tonsure during her recent visit to the Sri Venkateswara Temple, he alleged that an incident that did not take place was being portrayed as real and accused those behind the posts of attempting to damage her reputation.

Bhumana further alleged that the government was planning to pay social media influencers and claimed that public funds were being misused for political propaganda. He said devotees visiting the Sri Venkateswara Temple follow different traditions, including offering hair as a religious offering, and alleged that such social media campaigns were being used to target YSRCP leaders. He condemned what he described as personal attacks and said such actions would not serve any political purpose.
