Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka held a crucial meeting with Telangana Members of Parliament at Pragathi Bhavan on Thursday. The discussions focused on the issues that need to be raised during the upcoming winter session of Parliament and the strategy to be adopted.
Officials presented a detailed PowerPoint briefing covering 47 priority matters related to 12 government departments. Congress MPs Mallu Ravi, Balram Naik, and Kadiyam Kavya, along with BJP MPs Raghunandan Rao, Nagesh, and CS Ramakrishna Rao, attended the meeting.
The Parliament’s winter session will run from December 1 to 19. This session is expected to witness intense debates, as opposition parties are strongly objecting to the voter list revision program undertaken by the Election Commission in 12 states and Union Territories. The opposition is preparing to raise this issue prominently in the House to mount pressure on the government.
