The AIADMK Women's Wing meeting was held at the party headquarters in Chennai under the leadership of Edappadi K. Palaniswami. Addressing party members, Palaniswami said AIADMK workers were happy to see "betrayers" leaving the party and asserted that no one could destroy the organisation. He also accused political rivals of persuading elected representatives who won on the AIADMK's Two Leaves symbol to resign and join other parties. The meeting also focused on strengthening the party's organisational structure through greater participation of women.
Several resolutions were adopted during the meeting, including condemning power cuts, preparing for upcoming by-elections, demanding action against crimes involving sexual harassment, and seeking a thorough investigation into alleged irregularities in the recruitment examination for assistant professors in government colleges. Meanwhile, the absence of senior AIADMK leaders S. P. Velumani and Natham Viswanathan from the meeting attracted political attention.
