Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu couldn’t hide his joy as his wife, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, brought global recognition home. Unlike many political spouses who prefer to stay away from business activities, Bhuvaneshwari has always been deeply involved in managing the Nara family’s enterprises, particularly Heritage Foods, alongside her daughter-in-law, Brahmani. Her dedication and leadership were celebrated on an international stage last night in London, where she received two prestigious awards. The first honour — the IOD Distinguished Fellow Award — recognized her exceptional contributions to public service, leadership, and social responsibility.
The second accolade — the Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance 2025 — was presented to Heritage Foods Ltd, the company she heads, for its strong ethics and commitment to transparent governance. Blending compassion with corporate discipline, Bhuvaneshwari has become a role model for women in leadership. Her efforts to combine philanthropy with responsible business practices have earned her praise worldwide — and her husband, Chandrababu Naidu, couldn’t be prouder.
