

The Telangana Cabinet has taken several key decisions, including convening the Assembly sessions from March 16. The Governor’s address will be delivered on the opening day, and the State Budget is scheduled to be presented on March 20.
The Cabinet approved renaming the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad as the Directorate of Secondary Health and bringing its employees under direct government control to strengthen public healthcare delivery.
The government also decided to take over the Hyderabad Metro Rail from Larsen & Toubro. Additionally, 20 acres of land have been allotted to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in Khammam, while 70 acres have been allocated in Mahabubabad district for a new college under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Land allotments will also be made for party offices across districts.
