The Telangana BJP strongly criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for his reported remarks mocking BJP National President Nitin Nabin. State BJP Chief Spokesperson N.V. Subash said the comments reflected arrogance, political insecurity, and disrespect for democratic institutions. He stated that it is inappropriate for a Chief Minister to mock the leader of a national political party.
Subash further said that such arrogance has historically led to political setbacks for leaders. He added that the BJP promotes leadership based on merit and public service, while accusing the Congress of political favoritism. He also said the BJP is emerging as a strong alternative in Telangana, as people are increasingly dissatisfied with the Congress government.
