Apologised, Yet Was Attacked – YSRCP Leader Ambati Rambabu

Ambati Rambabu alleged that members of Telugu Desam Party attacked his vehicle using sticks and rods and verbally abused him. He stated that he reacted emotionally during the confrontation and later expressed regret for his remarks, adding that he had already issued an apology.

The YSR Congress Party leader further claimed that groups later gathered and attacked his residence while his children and grandchildren were inside. He accused the police of failing to provide protection and said he was advised to leave the place instead of being safeguarded.

Rambabu also alleged that he was jailed for 18 days and criticized what he described as retaliatory actions. Responding to remarks made by Pemmmasani Chandrasekhar, he questioned whether verbal comments should lead to violence, and asked Pawan Kalyan whether such incidents were justified, insisting that objectionable speech should be addressed legally, not through attacks.
