YSR Congress Party chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy strongly criticized the present alliance government during a media conference in Amaravati. He alleged that the government had failed to fulfill the promises made before the elections and accused it of following anti people policies. Jagan stated that law and order in the state had deteriorated under the current administration.
Jagan accused the government of large scale corruption in the name of Amaravati development. He said his party had earlier proposed an alternative development model considering the state’s financial condition. He alleged that the current government was spending thousands of crores on government buildings and designs, leading to unnecessary financial burden and irregularities.
The former Chief Minister claimed that the ‘Super Six’ promises had completely failed and that farmers, women, and unemployed youth were suffering. He said welfare schemes introduced during his tenure were being discontinued and alleged that drug activities were increasing across the state. Jagan also accused the government of suppressing social media voices that question its policies and asserted that his party remains committed to value based politics.
