AP Minister Nara Lokesh attended the Vizag District Court!

Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh appeared before the 12th Additional District Court in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday in connection with a defamation case he filed against the Telugu daily Sakshi. The case pertains to an allegedly false and defamatory news report published by the newspaper. As part of the proceedings, Lokesh attended the court along with his legal team for the third round of cross-examination, while two earlier rounds have already been completed in this case.

The defamation suit was filed over a report published by Sakshi on October 22, 2019, under the headline “Chinababu Chiruthindi… ₹25 Lakhs”, which the minister has termed baseless and damaging to his reputation. The court is continuing the examination process as part of the trial. The case has drawn attention due to its political significance and the minister’s continued personal appearance during the hearings.
