Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan met women cricketers, coaches, and support staff at the Mangalagiri camp office and congratulated the team for winning the World Cup. He presented ₹5 lakh each to the players and ₹2 lakh each to the coaches. He also felicitated every woman cricketer with a silk saree, shawl, memento, Kondapalli dolls, and Araku coffee. Pawan Kalyan praised the visually challenged women’s cricket team for bringing pride to the nation and assured that he would personally request all state Chief Ministers to provide special facilities for blind cricket practice.

He stated that the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh is committed to promoting sports and promised to convey the team’s concerns directly to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Expressing happiness that Andhra players Deepika (captain) and Pangi Karuna Kumari were part of the World Cup–winning team, he responded to their village issues as well. Deepika sought road connectivity to her village in Sri Satya Sai district, and the Deputy CM instructed officials to take immediate action. He also directed prompt action on the requests made by Karuna Kumari from Alluri Sitarama Raju district.
