Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that while governments and political parties may change, administrative policies must remain stable to ensure investor confidence. He assured that the coalition government led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is committed to supporting investors at every step, without harassment.
He emphasized that Andhra Pradesh is creating a positive investment climate while balancing development with environmental protection. Making the state a leader in renewable energy is a key objective of the coalition government, he said, adding that the green ammonia project is a major milestone in India’s clean energy journey.
On Saturday, at Vakalapudi in Kakinada, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with AP BJP President PVN Madhav, laid the foundation stone for the AM Green Green Ammonia–Green Hydrogen Complex. They reviewed the project model and inaugurated the machinery pylon.
Pawan Kalyan praised AM Green founder Anil Chalamalasetty for demonstrating that strong determination can overcome challenges. The project, spread across 495 acres, aims to produce 1.5 million metric tonnes of green ammonia annually, with an investment of ₹15,600 crore and expected clean energy investments worth $8 billion.
Targeting first-phase commissioning by the end of 2027, the project will generate employment for around 8,000 people during construction and 1,500 during operations, besides creating long-term indirect employment for thousands.
