

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet expressed deep condolences over the death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in a tragic plane crash. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu referred to the incident at the beginning of the Cabinet meeting and conveyed his profound shock over the accident that occurred while Ajit Pawar was traveling from Mumbai to Baramati. The Cabinet mourned the loss of Ajit Pawar along with five others who lost their lives in the crash.
Recalling his long-standing association with Ajit Pawar, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said the incident was personally distressing. He described Ajit Pawar’s death as an irreparable loss to Maharashtra politics. The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet passed a formal resolution expressing condolences to the bereaved family and paid homage to the late Deputy Chief Minister, observing a moment of silence in his memory.
