Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that Potti Sriramulu was a courageous freedom fighter who actively participated in India’s independence movement, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals. He took part in the Salt Satyagraha and the Quit India Movement with unwavering commitment.

On the death anniversary of Potti Sriramulu, both Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan paid heartfelt tributes. The Chief Minister, in his message on social media, praised Sriramulu as a great soul who fought relentlessly for a separate state for Telugu-speaking people, even at the cost of his life.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan emphasized that Sriramulu’s supreme sacrifice paved the way for the formation of linguistic states in India. Leaders noted that his selfless dedication and sacrifice continue to inspire generations.
