Anitha Jakkani Hits Back at Sushmitha Patel

State Handloom Corporation Vice Chairman Anitha Jakkani strongly criticised Konda Sushmitha Patel over her recent remarks against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Congress leaders. Speaking at a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan, Jakkani questioned Sushmitha’s authority to comment on Congress tickets and said she had no official position in the party. She also objected to Sushmitha claiming that she would contest from Parkal and criticised her remarks against MLA Revoori Prakash Reddy.

Jakkani said Sushmitha could contest as an independent if she wished, but questioned why she was using Congress party flags and images of Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. She warned Sushmitha against making further personal remarks about the Chief Minister and his family. Jakkani also criticised Sushmitha’s comments about “Achha Congress” and “Paccha Congress” and said Congress workers would respond to such statements. She urged Sushmitha to stop what she described as provocative and irresponsible political comments.
