Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that the world is currently focused on quantum technology. He said Amaravati is being developed as a cutting-edge research hub through the proposed “Quantum Valley.”
Addressing thousands of tech students during an online ‘Quantum Talk’ session, the Chief Minister highlighted the growing importance of quantum computing across sectors. The programme was organised in collaboration with Qubit and Viser companies.
Recalling India’s reform journey, Naidu said economic reforms introduced in 1991 transformed the nation, similar to China’s reforms in the 1970s. Agricultural reforms and the Green Revolution played a vital role in strengthening the economy and achieving food self-sufficiency.
He added that the Union government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is focusing on empowering citizens through reforms. Naidu noted that Visakhapatnam is emerging as an IT destination, while plans are underway to establish a Space City in Tirupati.
