

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, the AIADMK has released the second phase of its election manifesto, focusing on welfare-oriented promises for the public. The party announced that three free LPG cylinders will be provided every year. Monthly pensions will be increased to ₹2,000, and education loans for students will be completely waived.
Highlighting the importance of traditional sports, the manifesto promises financial assistance of ₹5 lakh to Jallikattu organizing committees. Compensation of ₹2 lakh will be given to those injured during Jallikattu events, while families of those who lose their lives will receive ₹10 lakh as compensation.
With these announcements, the party stated that the manifesto aims to improve living standards and support key sections of society.
