AIADMK Promises: ₹2,000 for Women and Free Bus Travel for Men!

During the Tamil Nadu Assembly election campaign, AIADMK Chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami announced a series of major promises. He said that if his party comes to power, women will receive a monthly financial assistance of ₹2,000. Along with women, men will also get the benefit of free bus travel.

He further promised to extend the employment guarantee scheme from 100 to 150 days. Palaniswami also assured housing for the poor and special subsidies for auto drivers. Criticizing the DMK government as a “failure model”, he stated that AIADMK’s main goal is the welfare of the people.
