

The International Kite Festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Sabarmati riverfront came alive with colourful kites, festive crowds and cultural vibrancy, drawing visitors from across India and abroad.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz received a warm and traditional welcome from the people of Gujarat. The festival venue featured a variety of cultural programmes showcasing the state’s rich heritage.
Traditional music performances and folk dances by Gujarati artists emerged as major highlights of the event. Adding to the festive spirit, Prime Minister Modi and the German Chancellor were seen flying kites together, symbolising cultural exchange and friendship between the two nations.
