A Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) has confirmed that adulterated ghee was used in the sacred Tirumala laddus during the YSRCP government. The revelation has sparked nationwide outrage and debate.
Reacting to this, actor Prakash Raj tweeted:
Instead of mixing religious hatred into fake ghee, stop doing fake politics. It’s time to punish those truly responsible.
His statement triggered mixed reactions online, with many netizens replying that he often views every issue through a religious or caste-based lens.
Earlier too, when the controversy first surfaced, Prakash Raj had urged Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to investigate the matter strictly, saying:
Please identify and act against the culprits. Don’t create fear or disturb harmony in the name of religion.
Now that the SIT has confirmed the adulteration, social media is abuzz with one big question. If the ghee was fake, who’s behind the fake politics?
