The past 24 hours have turned unusually interesting for political observers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In a rare coincidence, key leaders from both states engaged in back-to-back interactions, sparking intense discussions. The first unexpected meeting took place in Bengaluru, where former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met former Telangana IT Minister KTR at a private event. Their cordial interaction has triggered speculation about possible political conversations behind the scenes.
Adding more curiosity, KTR shared a picture with Jagan on social media and affectionately referred to him as “Jagan Anna,” highlighting their growing personal and political rapport. This unexpected camaraderie between the two prominent opposition leaders immediately became a trending topic in Telugu political circles.
Within hours of this meeting, another major political crossover unfolded—this time involving the two sitting Chief Ministers. Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy met in Puttaparthi while attending the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The near-simultaneous meetings between Jagan–KTR and Chandrababu–Revanth have become the center of widespread speculation, with many wondering if these interactions hint at emerging political equations between the Telugu states.
