Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for a massive investment wave as the state government prepares to sign 410 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with top national and international companies. State IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh shared that these agreements will bring in investments worth nearly ₹9.8 lakh crore. Lokesh said the government’s focus is on ensuring that all these projects move into the implementation phase within the next 12 months, with completion expected over a 3–5 year timeframe. He stated that this initiative will position Andhra Pradesh among the top investment destinations in India.
Responding to claims that the YSR Congress had initiated some of these deals before 2024, Lokesh remarked that “investments should be measured by what’s implemented on the ground, not just by what’s written on paper.”
