U.S. President Donald Trump has once again sparked debate with his strong comments on America’s nuclear power. Speaking at a recent event, Trump claimed that the United States possesses enough nuclear weapons to “destroy the world 150 times.” He emphasized that America continues to be the global leader in terms of defense and nuclear capability. “Disarmament is a great concept, but we already have what it takes to protect our people. We have nuclear weapons strong enough to destroy the world multiple times - but we don’t need to use them,” Trump said.
Trump also mentioned that he had discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping about reducing unnecessary military expenditure and focusing resources on development and peace.
“I want global peace, and so do they. The world doesn’t need another war — it needs understanding,” he added.
His remarks have reignited international conversations about nuclear deterrence and the importance of diplomatic stability among world powers.
