Kannada star Yash’s film Toxic has reportedly faced challenges in finalising its digital streaming deal following its theatrical release. Although the film was made on a reported budget of around ₹400 crore, reports circulating online claim that its worldwide box-office collection was approximately ₹340 crore. The film’s OTT release has also attracted attention, as no streaming platform or release date has been officially confirmed in the information available.
According to social media reports, an earlier offer of around ₹150 crore for the digital rights was allegedly rejected, with the makers reportedly seeking ₹200 crore. More recent claims suggest that an OTT platform has offered around ₹30 crore, with part of the amount to be paid upfront and the remainder linked to a pay-per-view arrangement. ZEE5 was previously rumoured to have acquired the digital rights, but no official confirmation has emerged. Until the producers or a streaming platform make an announcement, the reported figures and deal terms should be treated as unverified speculation.
