Will Netflix Stream the Updated Version of Peddi?

Ram Charan's blockbuster rural sports action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu, is all set to make its digital debut on Netflix from July 9. The film emerged as a massive box office success by collecting over ₹400 crore worldwide. Set against the backdrop of Srikakulam, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and has received an overwhelming response from audiences.

Ahead of its OTT release, viewers are eager to know which version of the film will be streamed. Following criticism over certain portions involving Janhvi Kapoor's character, the makers reportedly removed a few scenes and later added new ones before the theatrical run continued. However, neither Netflix nor the filmmakers have clarified whether the OTT release will feature the original version or the updated cut. Fans are now awaiting an official announcement regarding the streaming version.
