Unmadham OTT Release - Here’s When the Crime Thriller Will Stream

The Malayalam crime thriller ‘Unmadham’, which received attention following its theatrical release, is now heading to OTT. Starring Kunchacko Boban, Lijomol Jose, Raina Radhakrishnan and Siddique in key roles, the film will begin streaming on SonyLIV from September 4. It will be available in Malayalam as well as Telugu, with the Telugu trailer also released ahead of its OTT premiere.

The film is scripted by Shahi Kabir, known for works such as ‘Nayattu’ and ‘Joseph’, and directed by editor Kiran Das. The story follows Shelley, a police officer who dreams of becoming a writer while continuing his job in the police department. Why does he reopen a case that was closed six years ago? Why are people afraid of the case? And is there really a curse associated with it? The answers unfold through the film.
