Two Telugu Movies That Arrived on OTT!

New movies continue to arrive on OTT platforms every week. This time, films like Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthi, With Love, Gandhi Talks, Tanvi The Great and Lalo Krishna Sada Sahayate are set for streaming. However, two Telugu films have quietly started streaming without much announcement. These films are ‘Vanchana’ and ‘Devagudi’ and both are now available on Sun NXT.

‘Vanchana’ is a courtroom thriller that was released in theatres on November 8, 2024. Uma Mahesh played the lead role and also directed the film. The story begins with the murder of a church father. His driver is arrested as the main suspect. However, a criminal lawyer named Krishna believes the driver is innocent and takes up the case. The rest of the story focuses on the challenges faced during the investigation and the search for the real killer.

The second film, ‘Devagudi’, stars Abhinav Shaurya, Narasimha, Anushree and Raghu Kunche in key roles. It was released in theatres on January 30. Set against a Rayalaseema backdrop, this action entertainer tells the story of Veerareddy, a faction leader. He sends away Dharma, the son of his follower, after learning about his friendship and love connection with his daughter Swetha. Later, Veerareddy falls sick and is killed by his enemies, while Swetha goes missing. Who kidnapped her? Did Dharma and Swetha reunite? The answers form the rest of the story.
