This Movie Was Average In Theatres.. Has It Become A Top OTT Trendsetter Now..?

Dhanush’s ‘Kara’, directed by Vignesh Raja and starring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, was released in April in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Despite generating decent pre-release buzz, the film managed only a moderate performance at the box office. While the performances and storyline received appreciation, the movie could not achieve the expected commercial success in theatres.

However, the film has found a new audience after its OTT release. Streaming on Netflix, ‘Kara’ is currently trending among the top titles on Netflix India. Although it delivered only an average theatrical run, the movie is now receiving strong appreciation from digital viewers and has emerged as one of the platform’s most-watched titles.
