Telangana Saga Golla Ramavva to Stream on ETV Win from January 25

The timeless Telugu classic Golla Ramavva, which is expected to remain etched in the hearts of Telugu audiences, is set to stream on ETV Win from January 25. Starring Talluri Rameshwari in the title role, the film is a visual adaptation of the Telangana armed struggle narrative penned by late former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao. Directed by Mullapudi Vara, the film has been jointly produced by Ram Vishwas Hanurkar and Raghavendra Varma (Bujji) under the banners of Sucheta Dream Works and Varma Dream Creations. Young talent Azhar Sheikh served as the executive producer and also contributed lyrics for the film.

Speaking at the trailer launch event, several eminent guests praised the film for its powerful storytelling and emotional depth. The event was attended by P. V. Narasimha Rao’s son P. V. Prabhakar Rao, his granddaughter and MLC Barasa Surabhi Vani Devi, lyricists Kasarla Shyam and Maunashree Mallik, actors Rajeev Kanakala, Razakar director Yata Satyanarayana, and senior director Uday Bhaskar. Vani Devi lauded the makers for beautifully bringing one of her father’s most significant stories to life. The team expressed pride in being part of the project and expressed confidence that Golla Ramavva will earn a permanent place in Telugu cultural memory upon its digital release.
