Teja Sajja Reveals Why He Immediately Agreed to Host The Traitors Telugu

Teja Sajja has opened up about how he came on board as the host of The Traitors Telugu. After completing his film Mirai, the actor was approached by Amazon Prime Video for the reality show. The Traitors is a globally popular franchise that has been adapted in more than 20 countries and over 25 languages. Teja said he became interested in the format after watching an episode of the Hindi version hosted by Karan Johar, eventually completing the entire season within two days.

According to Teja, the strength of the format and its success across different languages gave him confidence to accept the opportunity immediately. He also described The Traitors Telugu as a reality show unlike anything previously seen on such a large scale in Telugu. Featuring 20 celebrities from different fields, the show has been planned as a 10-episode series and will be released with English subtitles from October 15, with a new episode arriving every Thursday. Teja also revealed that the shooting of his upcoming film Zombie Reddy 2 has recently begun.
