‘Sirai’ Movie on OTT!

This is the era of OTT platforms. Movies released in different languages are now being dubbed and streamed for a wider audience. Over the past few years, Telugu viewers have become very familiar with South Indian films. In this trend, a Tamil blockbuster released last weekend has now arrived a little late in Telugu on OTT. The film is Sirai, starring Vikram Prabhu, Akshay Kumar and Anishma in lead roles. The word “Sirai” means “prison” in Tamil. Released in theatres in December, the movie became a big success. Four days ago, it started streaming on ZEE5 in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Now, the Telugu dubbed version is also available. Coming to the story, Seenu (Vikram Prabhu) is a sincere police officer who mainly handles escort duties, taking prisoners from jail to court. One day, he is assigned to escort a prisoner named Abdul Rauf (Akshay Kumar) from Guntur jail to Kadapa court. What happens during this journey, Abdul’s past and what finally happens to his love Kala (Anishma) form the rest of the story.
