Shiva 4K Set for OTT Release After Massive Theatrical Response!

The 1989 campus drama Shiva, starring Nagarjuna, Amala, and Raghuvaran, holds a special place in Indian cinema. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film created a massive impact with its raw storytelling and technical brilliance. It became a box-office hit and still remains a cult classic loved by generations of audience.

Recently, the iconic film was remastered in 4K and re-released in theatres worldwide, receiving an overwhelming response from fans. After its successful theatrical run, Shiva 4K is now getting ready for an OTT release. During IFFI 2025, Nagarjuna revealed that efforts are underway to make the remastered version widely accessible through a major OTT platform. Produced by Annapurna Studios, the film features an unforgettable musical score by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
