Nani’s latest film, The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, is preparing for its digital premiere. The makers have announced that the film will begin streaming on Netflix from October 22. The story centres on a community’s struggle for survival, and the film was released in theatres amid considerable expectations from Nani’s fans. However, its box-office performance reportedly fell short of expectations, making its upcoming OTT release an important opportunity to reach a wider audience.
The Paradise will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, according to the announcement. Viewers are also curious about whether Netflix will stream the theatrical version or include additional footage. The makers have not yet clarified whether any extra scenes will be part of the digital release. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Mohan Babu appears in a negative role. Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal feature in important roles. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Its reception among OTT audiences will become clearer after streaming begins.
