Nani’s The Paradise arrived in theatres amid high expectations, but the film reportedly failed to impress many fans and moviegoers. Director Srikanth Odela faced criticism from some viewers, who felt that the film did not fully live up to its potential despite the long wait. The movie is now streaming on Netflix in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Many viewers expected the OTT version to have a considerably shorter runtime, but reports indicate that only four minutes have been trimmed from the theatrical version.
The limited runtime reduction has sparked curiosity among viewers, who are eager to find out which scenes were removed and how audiences watching the film at home will respond to it. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal appear in antagonist roles. Sonali Kulkarni plays Nani’s mother, and Sampoornesh Babu portrays his friend. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film features music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. It remains to be seen whether the OTT release will receive a different response from audiences compared with its theatrical run.
