Malayalam-Only Release Sparks Disappointment Among Netflix Viewers

The Malayalam crime thriller Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkaran, starring Parvathy Thiruvothu in the lead role, has premiered on Netflix. However, the film is currently available only in its original Malayalam audio, disappointing viewers who were hoping to watch it in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi after its reported strong theatrical run. Several viewers have taken to social media to tag Netflix and request dubbed versions in their preferred languages. So far, the streaming platform has not announced whether additional audio options will be introduced.

Directed by Shahad Nilambur, the crime thriller features an ensemble cast that includes Mathew Thomas, Sidharth Bharathan, Vijayaraghavan, Vinay Forrt and Parthiban in key roles. Despite the limited language options, the film is reportedly attracting attention on the streaming platform. For now, viewers who do not understand Malayalam have to rely on English subtitles. Whether Netflix will release Telugu, Tamil and Hindi dubbed versions remains uncertain, as the platform has yet to provide an official update.
