Is This the OTT Release Date of Jailer 2?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest action film, Jailer 2, hit theatres on October 15, 2026, as a festive release for Dussehra. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is a sequel to the earlier hit Jailer. Following a reportedly positive opening-day response, the movie is said to have collected approximately ₹125.25 crore worldwide on its first day. Its strong opening and ensemble cast have generated interest among audiences across multiple film industries.

According to reports, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital streaming rights for Jailer 2 in a deal reportedly valued at ₹160 crore. The film is expected to premiere on the platform on November 12, 2026, around four weeks after its theatrical release. However, neither the reported deal value nor the OTT release date has been officially confirmed. Rajinikanth leads the cast, which also includes Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mithun Chakraborty, Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar. Sun Pictures produced the film, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
