From Theatrical Hit to OTT ‘Balan The Boy’

Director Chidambaram, who gained nationwide recognition with ‘Manjummel Boys’, has delivered another successful film with ‘Balan The Boy’. Produced jointly by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, the movie features a relatable native story blended with strong emotions and sentiment. Released on June 19 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, the film emerged as a major success despite being a small-budget project, winning widespread audience appreciation.

The film is now gearing up for its digital premiere. Popular OTT platform ZEE5 has acquired the streaming rights, and the movie will be available from July 31 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Following its theatrical success, the makers are confident that the film will receive a strong response on OTT as well.
