This year’s Diwali box office may not have matched last year’s festive fireworks in the Telugu states, but movie lovers still had several options to enjoy. Nearly half a dozen films — including dubbed releases — hit the big screen during the holiday weekend. With their theatrical runs now complete, these movies are gearing up for their digital debuts. Here’s a full rundown of when and where you can stream them:
Mithra Mandali – Prime Video
The first film to release during the Diwali season, Mithra Mandali, a comedy-drama, failed to make the desired impact at the box office. After an underwhelming three-week theatrical run, the makers released a recut version on Prime Video starting November 6.
Telusu Kada, Dude (Dubbed), and Bison (Dubbed) – Netflix
Three Diwali releases — Telusu Kada, Dude, and Bison — shared the same release weekend and have Netflix as their digital streaming partner. Following a four-week theatrical run, all three films are expected to premiere on November 14. While an official confirmation from Netflix is awaited, internal reports indicate that the announcement is imminent.
K Ramp – Aha Video
K Ramp, starring Kiran Abbavaram, emerged as a surprise performer with steady box-office returns and positive audience word-of-mouth. After completing a successful 28-day run, the film is set for its OTT release on Aha Video from November 15.
Thamma (Dubbed) – Prime Video
Thamma, the Telugu-dubbed version of Rashmika Mandanna’s Hindi film, follows the standard eight-week OTT gap as per Bollywood norms. The movie is expected to stream on Prime Video around mid-December.
Though this year’s Diwali season lacked a major blockbuster, many of these titles are likely to gain renewed attention on streaming platforms, giving audiences a second chance to enjoy the festive releases at home.
