After dominating the global box office with collections of nearly ₹1,400 crore, Dhurandhar has now created another milestone on Netflix. According to the platform's 2026 first-half viewership report, the Ranveer Singh starrer recorded 37 million views worldwide between January and June, making it the most-watched non-English film on Netflix during the period. The achievement highlights the growing global demand for Indian cinema on digital platforms.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is an action-packed spy thriller centered on an Indian intelligence officer who risks his life to infiltrate terrorist networks. Ranveer Singh's performance, supported by R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, received widespread appreciation. Netflix also revealed that viewers watched more than 97 billion hours of content globally during the first half of 2026, with Indian films and series contributing significantly to the platform's record-breaking engagement.
