Bad Girl Makes OTT Debut Amid Huge Controversy!

The bold and controversial film Bad Girl, which created a buzz by winning international awards, is now set for its OTT release. The movie stirred major controversy right from its teaser launch, as some scenes were criticized for allegedly offending a section of society. The Censor Board also issued a shocker before the release by cutting several objectionable scenes.

Though it didn’t connect much with family audiences, the film received a good response from the youth. The story revolves around a girl named Ramya, who falls in love multiple times and faces emotional turmoil after several breakups. The main plot explores why society labels her as a “Bad Girl.”

Produced by acclaimed filmmakers Vetrimaaran and Anurag Kashyap, the film is directed by Varsha Bharath. Anjali Sivaraman plays the lead role, with Sharanya Ravichandran in a key role. After a decent theatrical run, Bad Girl is now set to stream on Jio Hotstar from November 4. The movie will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
