Anand Deverakonda’s Epic Set for OTT Release

Sithara Entertainments’ Epic – First Semester, starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, did not meet expectations during its theatrical run and is now heading towards its digital release. The film, which marked Aditya Hasan’s feature directorial debut, is likely to premiere on OTT on October 9, 2026, though an official confirmation is yet to be announced. There are also reports that the film could be made available in languages beyond Telugu on the digital platform.

The OTT release is expected to give Epic – First Semester another opportunity to reach a wider audience following its underwhelming theatrical response. The film also features Sivaji, Vasuki, Srinivas Gavireddy, Kalyan Shankar and others. Sai Soujanya co-produced the movie, which hit cinemas on September 11, 2026, with music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
