Akhil’s ‘Lenin’ Gets an Overwhelming Response on OTT

Akhil Akkineni’s blockbuster film Lenin has created another impressive milestone on ZEE5 after its successful theatrical run. The film, which reportedly crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the box office, began streaming on ZEE5 on August 7 and has now crossed 100 million streaming minutes within just two days. The achievement highlights the strong response the film continues to receive from audiences even after its theatrical success.

Presented by Annapurna Studios and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Manam Enterprises LLP and Sithara Entertainments, Lenin is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. Set against the backdrop of the Draupadhamma Tirunala in Ramachandrapuram village of Chittoor district, the film explores betrayal, friendship, revenge and redemption. Akhil’s raw and rustic performance has received praise, while Bhagya Sri Borse, Thaman’s music and background score, Leon Britto’s cinematography and Naveen Nooli’s editing have also been appreciated.
