Yash’s Toxic Scores Big at the Worldwide Box Office

Karnataka’s Rocking Star Yash’s latest big-budget film Toxic features a star-studded ensemble including Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria and Nayanthara. Released amid massive expectations and strong bookings, the film opened on a grand note, collecting more than ₹150 crore gross worldwide on its first day. However, the movie witnessed a noticeable slowdown in collections from the second day onwards.

According to trade circles and Kannada film industry PR figures, Toxic took another six days to add around ₹150 crore to its worldwide gross. By the end of its first-week run, the film is said to have crossed the ₹310 crore mark globally. Interestingly, nearly half of the reported earnings have come from the Hindi market. With the film continuing its theatrical run, its final worldwide tally remains to be seen. Ravi Basrur has composed the music, while Yash and K. Venkata Narayana have backed the project as producers.
